Fourth Group Assignment

Our fourth assignment was to design a Valentine's Day invitation on Evite.

The general theme of our blog gave us a free hand to do almost anything we wanted. Ultimately, we decided on an informal celebration between a group of friends.

Valentine's Day is not all about romantic love, especially here in Finland, where people remember their friends on the 14th of February. We aim to do just that.

The idea of our event is to gather people together to celebrate friendship and to enjoy good company and food in a casual, friendly atmosphere. In the message, we encourage the guests to bring a friend with them and to meet new people.

Using Evite is easy and fun. I can see myself using the website in the future.

For the invitation, we chose one of the least romantic Valentine's Day designs to suit our purpose. The light, soft colors and the childish balloons fit the relaxed, fun and easy-going party atmosphere.
